Description

The Flow Designer provides a graphical user interface to link objects like a Forms and a ‣. Different link types are available.

The Flow Designer enables you to perform linking of objects in order to e.g. display data content in a Grid / Table or in a Forms from a ‣, or to link several DatasourceObject like a children and parent data entity.

How to use it

Add a link

Adding a link can be done by first hovering on top of the icon of the source object of the link, a plus icon appears. By dragging-and-dropping from that icon to the target object of the link creates the link. Releasing the drag will open a popup dialog asking for the type of link.

Link Types

The most important link types are the following. Which is the right type depends on the objects to be connected.

Data Used for relations between datasources and grids
Display Used for relations between datasources and forms
Navigation Used for relations between ribbons and datasources
PrimarySDO Only for “This object” (the object which enables the flow designer) and the first datasource (SwatBusinessEntity)
TableIO Used for relations between ribbons and forms
