Description

Form blocks can be created in Build.One with the object SwatBlock and can be used within a Forms to group other form-objects together or to visually add empty space to the form.

Best practice:

• If you want to work also with columns add a block to the form first and within the block add the column. It is easier to maintain the form.
• You can also add fieldsets to blocks or add blocks into blocks.
• Don’t use blocks within fieldsets.

How to use it

A SwatBlock can be dragged onto Forms.

1. Go to Build > Components > Forms (or directly via the object designer in your screen.)
2. Search for your form object (type SwatForm) and open it.
3. In the ribbon click on “Design” to open the form designer.
4. Search for “SimpleSwatBlock” in the catalog and drag&drop it to the preview screen. Please note to drop it to a position where the preview screen will be highlighted in green, not in red.
5. Save.
